Our Story
Our story began in December of 2017. We were introduced to each other by both of our best friends that had always told us, "you guys would be perfect together". Jordan would pop into my work unannounced to just say hi, or bring me coffee. He joined the gym I attended in hopes we could workout together lol! Eventually I gave him my number and we hit it off immediately! One of our first dates was driving up to Shingletown to have some fun in the snow. We spent the whole drive there and back talking and realizing we had a lot in common. We were both attending Shasta College at the time, and spent most of our days together fishing on Shasta Lake and camping at Hat Creek. Once we graduated from Shasta College, I moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon to earn my degree in Ultrasound. Jordan stayed in Redding working as a mechanic with his Uncle Warren. Each weekend Jordan would hit the highway after work and drive up to Klamath Falls, or I would head home to Redding. We spent two years going back and forth. In 2019 we decided we were moving to Anchorage, Alaska to finish my last year of school. A coin toss that was done in my studio apartment in Oregon was the deciding factor for moving to Alaska or staying in Oregon. The coin landed on us moving to Alaska, so we packed up and hit the road! These last four years have been filled with so much adventure, growth, and a lot of salmon fishing!! In August of 2022 we went to the Florida Keys for a family vacation. After spending all day in Key West, we went down to the beach and Jordan proposed!! We are so excited to tie the knot and continue this adventure together!
